Wild Meadows Farm is located in Bedford County in South Central PA. The 200 acres consists of sloped fields, mixed forests of white/red oak, hemlock groves, sassafras, beech, and black walnut trees. The land lies between the Chestnut Ridge and Valley Roads with soft views of the southern Alleghenies.
DIRECTIONS:
From Washington DC & Metro Area (2 to 2 1/2 hours): Go onto I-270 N (29 miles). Take exit 32 to merge onto I-70 W toward Hagerstown. You will be entering Pennsylvania (77 miles). Turn left at I-70 E/US-30 W/S Main St. Continue to follow US-30 W (21 miles). Follow the directions below From Bedford.
From Pittsburgh (2 hours): Go onto I-376 E toward Monroeville. Take exit 85 for I-76. Keep right at the fork to continue toward I-76 E and merge onto I-76 E (53 miles). Take exit 110 toward Somerset. Turn left at PA-31 E/E Main St. Continue to follow PA-31 E (28 miles). Turn left toward PA-96 N/Shawnee Rd. Continue to follow PA-96 N (5 miles). Turn right at Chestnut Ridge Rd (1.5 miles). Turn right at Smith Road and follow the road .5 mile and you will see a barn to your right and places for parking your vehicle.
From Bedford (15 minutes): Go west on 30 to Schellsburg. Turn right (north) on 96 at the only stoplight in Schellsburg. Go 1/4 mile and turn right on Valley Road towards Fishertown. Go 2.5 miles and turn left on Smith Rd just past a big red barn on your left. Go 1/2 mile (road turns to gravel after about 300 feet) to big grey farmhouse with red roof on your left. You can park in front of the barn which is just past the farmhouse.
